Chara Dasha

Dasha
A planetary period in Vedic astrology that determines when the karma stored in the chart will manifest.
Dignity
The strength or weakness of a planet based on its sign placement (Exalted, Debilitated, Mooltrikona, Friendly, Enemy).
Graha (Planet)
A celestial body that influences human affairs. Vedic astrology uses 9 Grahas (Sun to Ketu).
Ishta Devata
The specific deity that helps steer your soul towards liberation (Moksha).
Nakshatra
A lunar mansion or star constellation. There are 27 Nakshatras further dividing the zodiac.
Navamsa (D9)
The 9th divisional chart, used to assess marriage, strength of planets, and inner destiny.
Rashi (Sign)
One of the 12 zodiac signs (Aries to Pisces).
Sade Sati
The 7.5 year transit of Saturn over the natal Moon, known for testing and maturity.
Vimshottari Dasha
The most common 120-year cycle dasha system based on the Moon's Nakshatra.
Yoga
